1. All Clubs entering must be affiliated to their appropriate FA.
2. Under
7’s or Under 8’s are not permitted to play in leagues where results are
collected or published or winner trophies are presented, this is deemed
to be detrimental to the development of the player and the game and
will not be sanctioned. To play in a KO Cup game or a game where points
are awarded, or results collected, a player must have achieved the age
of 8 on or before 31st August.

Each team shall name the number of players, U 7 to U10 [7 + 2 ], U11 to
U 16 [6 + 2 ], six/seven of which will play and two as rolling
substitute's. The list of the players must be handed in to the control
room 30 minutes before the first game in their league.

A player sent off the field of play by a referee shall take no further
part in the tournament. He shall not be eligible for a trophy should
his team win or finish runners-up
5 Each
game shall be of minimum of 8 minutes duration, one way. Before the
game commences the referee will toss a coin to allow the winning
Captain the choice of end or kick off. In the event of a draw in the
knockout stages there will be 4 minutes, one way, of sudden death extra
time, with the first goal winning the match. If scores are still level
then each team will take 3 penalties. If scores are still level then
sudden death penalties will decide the outcome.
Note: Only those player’s remaining on the field of play at the end of extra time will be permitted in the penalty shoot out.

During the league matches, points will be awarded as follows. Three
points will be awarded for a win, two points for a score draw and one
point for a nil score draw. If teams are level on points at the
completion of the league, goal difference will count. If still
level the team scoring the most goals will go through, if still level,
results between the two teams is taken into account. Thereafter
penalties will be taken, as per rule 5.

The laws of Association Football will apply except Law I (pitch sizes),
Law 3 (number of players), Law 7 (duration of play), Law 11 (no
offside) When free kicks are taken (Law 13) opposing players must be
three meters away from the ball. A goal cannot be scored from the kick
off. The referee’s decision on points of law shall be final.

The goalkeeper may not fly-kick or drop-kick the ball out of his hands
except for the under 7's and under 8's. Normal back pass rules apply
except for 7’s & 8’s. Teams must be ready for the kick-off at the
conclusion of the previous game on their nominated pitch, when
appropriate. Please note there may be variations to the programme if necessary. The first named team will be required to change colours if there is a clash.

The match ball shall be provided by the referee. Under 7’s &
8’s will use a size 3 football, under 9’s to U 15’s will use a
size 4 football, and under 16’s to use a size 5 football.
10.
Any protests shall be made to the tournament committee within five
minutes of the end of the game, accompanied by a fee of FIFTEEN pounds
(£15.00) which will be forfeited should the protest not be upheld.
11.
The Committee shall appoint referees for all matches and their decision
on all points of play and the laws of the game will be final.
12.
Abuse of officials by any Manager, their Assistants, players or
supporters will result in immediate disqualification of the team[s].
13.
Any points not covered by these rules shall be referred to the
Committee whose decision shall be final. Random checks of the player’s
ages will be made during the tournament. Any team, who includes a
player not of the correct age, will be disqualified and all there
previous results will be considered void.
